Happy impending new year, naughty Jews! I'm wondering if any of you have nefarious plans to incorporate pork products into your Rosh Hashanah vittles? And whether you have any holiday recipes to share, with or without bacon? I want to make something to celebrate the new year but don't know what's traditional or typical, aside from apples and honey...

Re: L'Shanah Tovah
Tue, September 14, 2004 - 8:52 PMWell Ariana, I'm making a big ass Empire kosher turkey. I am looking for a honey-lemon glaze to put on it to make it shine. Also I will be attempting to make Jewish apple cake since I have 2 huge bags of apples from apple picking. I am actually going quite traditional this year. I will also make kugel, which is easy, just mix up the noodles eggs and stuff and bake in the pan.
