Team Rowdy Jew was created in 2001 at the sham-blah-blah music festival in the kootenays by rocky mann and kit rottenchild because, goddamnit, it's just not hip enough to be a jew in canada in this day and age and we figured we needed to change that.
and so- team rowdy jew was born for jews and goyim alike.
as long as you love every one, or especially if you have a fondness for jewish booty, or food, or that speacial brand of guilt you see your friend's mom serving up, you are wayy more than welcome to join...come, celebrate judaism in all it's glory!!!
we have a very loose political stance...we don't want to kill any palestinians...we're against the apartheid wall...if it was up to us, we'd share the home land...we're all for unity and peace. we want a world where we can celebrate diversity and not be descriminated for it, regardless of what our culture is...
team rowdy jew is also rooted firmly in the belief that we should all have a really good laugh about the stereo types of judaism..cause well..fuck yeah... their funny. if you can't laugh at your self...?
