i think bacon is something we can all get behind. as long as you're not vegetarian. or kosher.
i am a jewish girl who loves her bacon. mmm bacon. i prefer the traditional american kind, not the round canadian kind, tho that's great for sandwiches and pizza, but it's really ham isn't it?

Hot dogs on the other hand, are a bit iffy.

"real" canadian bacon is the same area/strip/whatever you call it of meat as the strips of bacon, it's cut differently but has the same fat/meat proportion and flavor and stuff. "fake" canadian bacon is just a fried slice of ham.
